The School Age Child Care Association of BC in partnership with the Jewish Community Centre of Greater Vancouver is proud to present our May 2011 Conference. We are offering an amazing workshop to get you geared up for the upcoming season!
Jim Atkinson joins us from Orlando, Florida! He has presented over 1,200 workshops and keynotes in the past 21 years to numerous local, state, national and international organizations. He is best known for his motivational and games workshops that teach highly effective (and FUN) ways to manage large groups using imaginative resources. He also incorporates his H-A-P-P-Y techniques into every facet of recreational programming including staff issues, team development, behaviour guidance, summer programs, sports programs and after school program development.
Jim is the author of ten books: HAPPY GAMES, More HAPPY GAMES, The Completely HAPPY After School Program Handbook, Sports for the FUN OF IT!, Everything We've Learned or Remembered Since We Became H-A-P-P-Y!!!, You Hired 'Em, NOW WHAT?!, FREE to P.L.A.Y! and A to Z GENeration WHY?!

PRODUCING the PLAY LEADERS of TOMORROW!
Learn to teach "Play Leaders of Tomorrow" and how to conduct games with young children. Game selection, trouble shooting and direction techniques will give your "Young Adults" the skills/confidence needed to become outstanding Play Leaders.
